I’m buying 2 Pax, one 100cm x 236cm and the other 75cm x 236cm. Both for sliding doors. I am placing the Pax units side by side and rather than install doors, I want them open but with the exception of installing one 50cm sliding door.
I want that door to have the ability to slide along the entire length of the two units, i.e.175cm so that way I can slide the mirror to wherever I want. But I’m guessing that the rails are only designed for the doors to slide across one unit and not between units?
Can anyone suggest a way to hack this ? Or would I be better off getting the slide rails from a hardware store, cutting to size and then hacking the Ikea mirror door on to it ?
