Two upcycled Vestby Wardrobes

My daughter was sending 2 old vestby wardrobes to the dump and as I can’t bare seeing perfectly serviceable furniture going to waste, I rescued them as an upcycling project for my 1970’s inspired guest room.

I clad the outside in recycled pine panelling which I had left outside for a few months to weather (it rains a lot here so it didn’t take long!).  I then replaced the muslin curtain with a curtain made from a patchwork of vintage bedsheets.

It was made from stuff already taking up space around the house so cost me nothing.
