Upcycled rattan chair using retired climbing rope

I don’t remember the product name but it was from about 10 years ago. The rattan was deteriorating to the point of unusability.

 

I had recently gotten a climbing gym to give me a bunch of rope that they were required to retire after a certain number of hours of use. I wove a very comfortable seat and back using my knotting skills.
