I’m looking at getting a SVARTA loft bed, the smaller kids version. But I need to increase its height by a few cm. i.e, I’d like to add some form of blocks under the bed’s 4 legs, so that both the desk and the mattress area above are raised some so that an adult can sit a bit more comfortably at the desk below.
(Yes I know there is a larger, higher SVARTA for adults, but that is again too high for my needs.)
Anyone got a good safe idea on how to accomplish that in an easy/safe way? Jut putting the legs on blocks looks unsafe to me..
Alternatively, would it be safe to saw off some of the legs of the larger bed?
