Materials: STRANDMON, drill, rocking chair runners
Description: Hello! I decided to turn an IKEA Strandmon chair into a rocking chair. I found a site online where you could buy unfinished rocking chair runners.
I ordered a set, and measured where the feet of the Strandmon would go.
Very carefully, we used a drill press to make holes for the feet to rest in.
After the runners fit with the legs, we stained and sealed them. To attach, we used wood glue and spax screws.
