Materials: 701.166.53 BESTA Desk

Description: Hey guy, I need a little help here, I want to buy 2 IKEA BESTA desks, and add to one of them, an under desk shelf. It has holes for it, but I can’t find anything, that could fit there, maybe there some other BESTA item, that has compatible shelf?

  1. You could use shelf pins for the holes and get some melamine covered particleboard or MDF for the shelf from your local hardware store. You can get the shelf cut to the correct size there and afterwards have some fun painting it to the color of your choice. But I concur with Jenny, it’s not really a great idea if you want to use it as a desk, unless you cut some access for your legs.
