Materials: Trondheim Queen Bed
The Trondheim queen bed in our guest bedroom needed an upgrade. The panels on the headboard are as thin as paper so you couldn’t sit up and lean against them.
I had a sheet of 3/4″ walnut plywood laying around so I thought this would be a good way to make use of it. I prefer minimal modern design and have always loved the Case Study bed with its simple headboard, so that was my inspiration. I cut the walnut plywood to size but notched out the bottom of it to fit inside the side panels that run the length of the bed.
