Materials: AKURUM Cabinets, NUMERÄR countertops 96″Lx25″W, PERFEKT end base unit
Hack requires two NUMERÄR countertops, 96″L x 25″W. I had them trimmed down slightly to fit the space. Both the inside sides were trimmed and planed (can be done at local wood-shop or planing mill or DIY if you have the tools) and glued together to form one big piece. This one was placed on top of two 24″ wide AKURUM cabinets with three drawers on either side of the stove. The end was finished with a PERFEKT end base unit. The result is a fairly reasonably priced large kitchen island. The final measurements on this one are 94″ long by 47″ wide! Looks like a custom piece when completed.
