Materials: Socker and Ensidig
There are tons of table lamps to choose from, but if you make it yourself, it’s more special. I wanted to make a small modern and industrial looking table lamp. I headed to Ikea for inspiration and left with few Socker plant pots and Ensidig vases.
The vase and the pot is quite a good fit so there was not lot of modification to be made. I cut 100mm plate from plywood and installed the light fitting there and glued it inside the Socker and drilled a hole for the cord. I painted the pot with matte black and copper paint and fitted Ensidig over the Socker. Finished it with nice Edison style bulb and the lamp was done.
Got such a good feedback from friends that it’s now available at etsy.
