  1. Perhaps there is only one person that lives in that home and perhaps they meant exactly that “this is my home”… Showing the possession of the home to a singular Selbaek.
    Also.. Since they are the one that has to look at it daily why do you care if they didn’t do it properly?
    Their house- Their sign- their right to have the apostrophe where ever – when ever…
    I think we all can find a lot of other things to concern ourselves with… And no, I could care less if any of this is grammatically correct so please don’t tell me if it is not. Thanks’

  3. Don’t do that. Don’t use an apostrophe (indicating a singular possessive in this family’s case – their what?) when you just mean there’s more than one Selbaek in residence. And if you want to indicate the family’s possession of something (a pool or a dog?) the apostrophe would go behind the ended ‘s’ anyway.

    Other than that, well done!
