Hi!

I am planning on buying a KURA bed and have a mattress be put on the floor to make a bottom bunk look. I read that’s not a good thing to put a mattress straight on the floor. So what is an easy way to have some type of slat under the bottom mattress considering I’m not a handy person?

Hi Soraya
The easiest way is to use the LURÖY slatted bed base (pix below). The twin size should fit the KURA. ~ Jules

  1. I just bought the Luria Loy slats after coming across this post, and they don’t fit under the Kura bed at all. They are too wide. Be prepared to cut each slat down. Major bummer.

    I Just purchased a Kura reversible bed which I am planning an changing it to a bunk bed.

    Just wondering if the Lonset slatted bed base ( twin size) would fit inside the frame of the Kura?
    Would I need any extra hardware too?

  6. The Löset base – which can be used with a foam or latex mattress fits perfectly under the Kura and gives a clearance of about 10cm for air to flow under the mattress.

      Just want to make sure if the Lonset slatted bed base (twin size) fits inside the frame of the Kura bed.

  7. Instead of the Luröy slats, I would recommend Lönset, as it has a frame to hold the slats together. Luröy is only held together by a fabric band, so the parts can move under the mattress.
