Materials: Expedit 2×2 shelving unit; spare dowelling rods; electric drill Description: By repositioning one of the upright dividers in the Expedit 2×2 shelving unit, I was able to fit my stereo amplifier into the unit. Normally, the unit is supported by dowelling rods that run through both upright dividers: since that was no longer possible, I needed to use additional rods to support the two uprights in isolation.
My speakers and record collection fit snugly around the result. The 7″ records fit on top of the amplifier: this was a happy accident.
