Materials: BYAS Media Unit, hinges, metalic strip, nails, spray paint
Description: Instead of having the unit slide out as it was meant to be, I used hinges for the door to open downwards and added a magnetic strip to keep the door closed. Shelves provided can still be added.
I cut the back panel and nailed it into the unit so I can plug various inputs into it.
I spray painted the bottom and the shelf in the middle with lacquer paint. Interior shelves can be painted also.
I saw units similar like this from $400 to over $1200. Materials might be a bit different but it looks the same. This project cost me about $135 Canadian.
