We bought the HYLLIS shelves for our pantry but also need a place to feed our cat. So we took the bottom shelf off. With this one spare shelf we brainstormed what we can do with it.

I thought the shelf looked modern/industrial. Then inspiration struck.
I purchased a clock kit at a craft store then drilled a hole in the shelf.
Then I assembled the clock kit according to instructions on package.
