I wanted to make a change in the nursery and because I wanted something creative for kids and why space is needed (like everyone). After seeing IKEAHackers I remembered an old bed IKEA I bought before the birth of my daughter (7 years ago). The bed was called BREKKE and had three very useful drawers and had been stored in the warehouse because we have purchased the famous KURA.
So I got the idea to combined both beds so that it becomes higher and I can use the storage of the old bed. I got metal connectors, saw to cut the both sides of the headboard of BREKKE.
After that I placed the cut bed below the KURA bed and attached them with metal connectors. I also found that the measurements of my old Puppet Theatre fit perfectly on the bottom bunk and where the screw are …Please take a look at my photos. As they say a picture speaks a thousand words!
