I used the TÖRNVIKEN sink, TOLKEN countertop, and HEMNES vanity to create a style more customized to my taste! I added hardware from H & M and painted the HEMNES blue.
Materials:
- TÖRNVIKEN countertop sink
- TOLKEN countertop
- HEMNES vanity
- Knobs from H&M
- Chalk paint
- Polycrylic
Since they are all just IKEA pieces put together, my husband just followed the assembly directions.
I didn’t care for the sinks they sold with the HEMNES vanity, so I used a sink and counter they advertised with other vanities.
Cut the TOLKEN countertop to size, with an overhang on the front and sides.
I painted the vanity with chalk paint, so no prep was required. And then finished it with two coats of Polycrylic to seal it.

For this project Clara used a RAST chest of drawers, a BLANDA BLANK salad bowl (28 cm) for the sink, LANSA handles, CAPITA legs, faucet and plumbing hardware. She extended the RAST chest, and made shelves for towels. See the tutorial.
