Successful companies understand that to stay relevant, they must continually evolve, adapt, and introduce fresh pieces. It’s always exciting to see what’s entering the scene, and IKEA’s new products are certainly making a big impression.
The megastore has new arrivals in numerous categories, including storage, furniture, kitchenware, and decor. We’re talking hundreds of pieces.
My family’s planning an impromptu trip to Austin soon, so I started scrolling through IKEA’s latest line-up to see what things I’m bringing home.
All I can say is my list is getting pretty long. But, trust me, when it comes to where I spend my hard-earned money, careful consideration is key. These are the things I wouldn’t hesitate to spend my money on, and quite a few of them are going into my FRAKTA.
New IKEA Products for Storage and Organization
I’m a storage enthusiast, so anything that promises to make my life run more smoothly gets my attention. We’re currently revamping a section of our laundry room and an area on our back patio, so I definitely had those projects in mind when I added these new IKEA storage items to my list.
FÄRGSÄTTARE Wall Shelf Combination

The FÄRGSÄTTARE wall shelf combination is exactly the kind of pop I need for an otherwise bland laundry room. The curved profile lends just the right amount of chic, fitting beautifully above the washer and dryer. I’m particularly impressed by the sturdy construction that strikes that perfect balance between substantial storage and visual lightness. The open shelves are perfect for grabbing things quickly.
GÅRDSBUTIK Bin with lid

Yes, this one’s been all over TikTok and Instagram, but there’s a reason the GÅRDSBUTIK bin has achieved viral status—it genuinely solves the waste sorting problem. I’m investing in a 3 of these stackable bins to finally organize my recycling into a system that doesn’t look like an eyesore.
The wall-hung design means you can line up multiple bins without eating up floor space, and the sturdy handles make trips to the bins outside effortless. At under $40 each, it’s not exactly cheap, but boy, does it make sustainability look good.
SUNDSÖ Indoor/Outdoor Cabinet

This metal cabinet is designed for indoor or outdoor use. It’s made from durable, galvanized steel, and I adore this deep blue color. It would look so good on our back patio.
I’m thinking of getting two since you can hinge the door on either side and create a double-cabinet look. It also has two adjustable shelves, adding more storage capabilities, and adjustable feet so it stands level on uneven surfaces.
KUGGIS Black-Blue Box With Lid

We saw the white version of the KUGGIS lidded storage box on our last IKEA run and were already thinking about using it in our laundry room. I was drawn to this new blue-black option because the color is great for our living room shelves. Thanks to the lid, the contents stay dust-free, and you can stack several boxes.
EKENABBEN Cabinet

This simple storage cabinet has clean lines and a roomy interior to fit any number of items. For me, it’s another contender for our laundry room for things I prefer to keep out of sight. It would also work well next to a sofa or loveseat since it has a low profile.
UTRUSTA Under-Sink Organizer

I’m swapping out the existing sink organizer in our kitchen for this under-sink pull-out organizer. I love how the shelves slide out to make reaching things so much easier. No more straining to access stuff shoved in the back of the cabinet, knocking everything else over in the process.
Furniture
JÄTTEBO Corner Sofa

This versatile sectional sofa features modular pieces that come together in various configurations to suit your needs and space. I’ve always wanted a sectional, but our living room has a longer, narrower footprint. Therefore, the ability to choose the size is very appealing, and I love all of the color options.
GRÅFJÄLLET Wall-Mounted Bedside Table

If you’re short on floor space or simply want to maintain a minimal look, a wall-mounted bedside table is a great option. This one has a shelf and a hidden compartment with a flip-down drawer. It also works with any bed since you can mount it at whatever height you need.
SKÅLSTA Chair

We’re looking for a couple of smaller-scale chairs for our flex space to double as dining and desk chairs. I love the wood tone of this walnut chair with metal legs. If the black base is too dark, they also have a lighter option, plus other colors of seats to mix-and-match and create the exact look you want.
RUDSTORP Adjustable Stool

Need some flexible seating? My son wants a chair for his desk, but his room doesn’t have a lot of floor space to spare. He only uses the desk occasionally (it’s a flip-down that also acts as his dresser).
I saw this adjustable stool and thought, perfect! It’s a stool when he needs a place to sit, but it can double as a small nightstand the rest of the time. And since it’s adjustable, it can grow with him.
Home Decor
IKEA already has so many amazing decor pieces, it’s hard to imagine they can keep coming out with more things! But they’ve launched several new home accessories to get you dreaming up new designs for your space.
DOFTRIPS Watering Can

I love the idea of having fresh plants in my home, but I don’t always do a good job with upkeep. I thought a pretty watering can that I could leave out would make it a lot easier to handle plant care, so I’m digging this stainless steel watering can. It has form and function.
PHILODENDRON “BIRKIN” Potted Plant

Speaking of making plant care easier, a great start is choosing low-maintenance blooms, like this Philodendron house plant. It’s pretty, green, and easy to care for, which is perfect, especially if you’re like me and have a limited green thumb.
NYPONBUSKE Mirror

A full-length mirror is a must if you want to give your outfit the once-over before heading out the door. It also helps reflect light around the room, helping to brighten up the space and your mood. This one comes in a few sizes and colors, and you can also opt to hang it horizontally.
SMYCKA Artificial Bouquet

If my foray into adding more real plants to my home goes awry, there’s always faux greenery. The trick with artificial flowers and plants is to go with realistic options, and then add to the illusion by putting them in real dirt or opaque vases.
SMÅLOM LED Pillar Candle

If you love the glow of candlelight but prefer to avoid open flames, check out this LED pillar candle. It’s battery-operated, and you can pick from a 3-hour or 6-hour timer. There are also several sizes, which is nice for creating vignettes.
GULLSTRÅLE Bedspread

This fluffy, cozy bedspread is just the thing for keeping you warm during long, winter nights. It’s soft, plush, and comfy, and it’s even machine-washable. You can’t go wrong with something that looks good, feels good, and is easy to keep clean.
KABBLEKA LED Lighting Strip

The KABBLEKA LED Lighting Strip features a USB plug and is dimmable. Bend the strip around cabinets, furniture, or anywhere else you want to add some accent lighting, and simply cut it to size. The adhesive strip makes installation a breeze, and the LEDs feature a lifespan of roughly 25,000 hours.
For the Kitchen
SKEDSTÖR Teapot

Isn’t this little teapot the cutest? The playful design is bright and eye-catching, adding a dash of whimsy to your kitchen. It’s just the thing for whipping up a cozy cup of tea, or a few if you’re expecting company. It’s 34 ounce capacity means it can handle several cups at once.
SVARTABBORRE Folding Baking Rack

This folding baking rack is a game-changer for small kitchens or if you love to bake multiple batches at once. Prep or cool several cookie sheets without taking up any additional surface space. I can’t wait to use this the next time I’m tackling my holiday baking list.
BLOMNING Tin With Lid

I recently started using some loose tea leaves to make my hot tea, and thought about how I needed to get a cute container. The next thing I knew, this lidded tin was popping up as one of IKEA’s new items. Spooky, huh? The sealed metal lid is ideal for keeping flavors and aromas fresh.
RÖDSYRA Spoonrest

Simple, practical, and stylish. These are all reasons I love this little stoneware spoonrest, which keeps your counter clean while you cook and serve meals. It’s dishwasher-safe, too, which is always a bonus. And if you decide to get more than one, they stack for easy storage.
Outdoor and On the Go
Backyards, patios, front porches — these are all extensions of the living spaces we enjoy in our homes, or at least they have the potential to be. The right outdoor furniture and accessories create quiet retreats, lively entertaining spaces, and even on-the-go outdoor memories.
STRANDÖN Folding Table

Pop up this colorful folding table anywhere you need a place to enjoy a meal, play some games, or serve some cocktails. The strap makes it easy to transport, so you can set up your outdoor oasis any time, any place.
HÖGÖN / IGGÖN Umbrella and Base

IKEA’s new bright yellow outdoor umbrella adds vibrancy to your backyard retreat. Use the accompanying base to anchor the umbrella in place and set up a relaxing shady spot anywhere in your yard. I like the portability of this arrangement — it’s easy to move things whenever you decide to make a change.
SKOGSÖN Outdoor Chair

I’m envisioning two of these light green chairs combined with the yellow HÖGÖN umbrella to set the stage for a charming outdoor seating area. The scooped bottom and slight angle give this chair a stylish silhouette and make it a comfortable place to kick back and relax. I also appreciate the perforated design, so water doesn’t pool on the seat.
TÅNEBRO Outdoor Side Table

This adorable outdoor side table is the perfect finishing touch for a backyard seating area. Place it between two patio chairs or next to an outdoor loveseat to have a place for food and drinks or to display your favorite plant.
For the Kids
IKEA has some of the cutest, most whimsical items for children. There are a ton of STEM toys, cuddly stuffed animals, arts and crafts products, and kid-friendly furniture. These are some of my favorite new arrivals.
SANDLÖPARE Coloring Roll

The SANDLÖPARE art roll delivers over 390 inches of coloring fun, depicting an endearing landscape of the savannah and its wildlife. The SANDLÖPARE range also has place mats, storage boxes, and activity books that invite kids to add their own creative stamp through color and let their imaginations run wild.
STENMUS Mini Play Kitchen

When my son was little, he, like many other toddlers, had a toy kitchen. But it took up a good chunk of our living room. I would have loved something like this mini play kitchen so he could set up his restaurant anywhere he wanted. It’s super cute and the perfect solution for small play spaces or traveling toys.
FLISAT Children’s Desk

No homework assignment, craft project, or artistic masterpiece is too much for this versatile desk that grows with your child. This adjustable children’s desk features three different heights and a tilting tabletop, making it ready for anything. There’s even a holder for the MÅLA paper roll (a great example of how IKEA considers existing products when developing new ones).
FLISAT Adjustable Child’s Bench

The FLISAT children’s bench partners with the matching desk to give children a flexible, functional workspace that adapts as they grow. The adjustable bench is made of solid pine, making it sturdy and durable.
SANDLÖPARE Quilted Mat

Kids love to plop down on the floor to play, read, color, and maybe even take the occasional nap. A quilted mat like this one gives them a comfortable place to land, no matter where they are. The attached ties and carrying handle make it easy to roll up and tuck away or bring along on a trip.
