How I Made A Huge Craft Table For Next To Nothing

I finally have a HUGE workspace for sewing, cutting, crafting, and storage! My TROFAST craft table is missing the bins from the top shelves, but they are perpetually out of stock at IKEA. But I couldn’t wait to post anymore!!

Materials:

  • TROFAST Frame
  • TROFAST Wall Unit

Materials Cost = $190.00 (shelves, plywood, cutting mat, hardware)

How To Hack A Large Craft Table With Lots Of Storage

1. Put together the TROFAST Frame and Wall Unit as instructed.

2. Use Wood Joiners (cheap, Home Depot) to join the Frame to the Wall Unit. Then join the TROFAST bases to 39X60 cut Cabinet Grade Plywood (Home Depot $23- 2 free cuts).

3. Cover the table top with a 38X59 self-healing cutting mat (JoAnn Fabric).

4. Insert bins into TROFAST for craft supply storage/organization.
