Materials: Tarva dresser, wood filler, paint, stain, polyurethane, hardware
Description: We gave our Tarva dresser a Midcentury Modern feel by painting the frame, staining the drawer fronts, and adding new hardware. We used a semi-gloss latex paint for the top, sides, and legs of the dresser. For the drawers, use a little wood filler to fill in the pre-drilled holes.
Once the wood filler has dried, sand down any excess wood filler to give the drawer fronts a nice, smooth look. Apply a couple of coats of stain and a coat of polyurethane following the product directions. Drill new holes for the new hardware. Voila!
