The voting for the IKEA Hack of the Year 2014 and IKEA Idea of the Year 2014 did not go as smoothly as planned. There were accusations of spam votes and things got a little ugly. I tried to clean up the database provided by Polldaddy but frankly, it was a little over my head.
After mulling this through for a while, I made a decision to award the top 2 Hacks and Ideas. It’s a tie. Let’s put the polls behind us and celebrate creativity and the DIY chops of our winners.
So, without further ado, I would like to announce the winners of the IKEA Hack of 2014 as the PAX Room and HYLLIS bookshelf.
