Ikea item used: IKEA PS 2014 light fixture
1. Mask the backs of the outer fixture pieces so no paint covers the reflective side.
2. Spray paint the pieces using any flat black spray paint – Rust-oleum Painter’s Touch
3. Assemble the fixture as per the instructions.
You will get less light but, in return, you’ll get an accent piece of art that gives soft mood light.
