We wanted a drawer that could take two laundry bins to separate our white and colour loads.
But IKEA does not have a deep drawer that would work.
So we bought a high cabinet from the METOD range, and a 80 cm front. Along with that we got a MAXIMERA drawer.

Easy DIY laundry drawer
We installed the cabinet and drawer according to IKEA instructions. But for the drawer to be stable, I added a curtain rail diagonally across the side for stability.
Added a handle to the front and that’s it. There is still a lot of space in the tall cabinet above the laundry drawer to store detergent and other laundry essentials.
Works a charm.
